CVHR Sanctuary program ~ Ranger
Coachella Valley Horse Rescue
2011- 2014 Ranger came to our ranch on his own free will. He was around 8 and a lab mix. He did not have a collar. He was thin, hungry and very thirsty. The Rescue Director took him to the vet to see if he had a chip. He did not and needed vet care. His vet needs were met and after calling local shelters his previous owner could not be found. He loved the ranch and was a great ranch dog. Ranger was the friendly welcoming committee always with his tail wagging to say a friendly hello. Volunteers and members helped care for him. Ranger lived happily on the ranch and loved playing with water. Everyone loved him! He now has a forever home off of the ranch in a cooler climate. We all miss Ranger and will always remember his love and dedication to our ranch, guests, members, friends and rescues with a smile. He was our first rescued dog to live on the property full time. We named our club house after him. Ranger Hall.
